UPDATE: As of 2012 I am no longer offering custom guitars. Please keep an eye on my blog for new projects and instruments for sale.

New Design Page
I've finally reworked the Information section to include Design and Pricing pages. I don't have all the current designs computerized yet but there is a lot there to see and read about for the time being.

I spent the last two days driving around the Sacramento Valley and Sierra Foothills trying to find a Roland synth unit to test Dave Kuzy's guitar. None of the local guitar stores had anything so I finally had to post a topic on Craigslist trying to find someone local with a VG88 or GR33. Thanks to everyone who offered help, I ended up taking Robbi Spencer's advice and contacted Ed TenEyck. Ed was nice enough to let me use his synth unit for a few minutes and for that I am very grateful.

In other news my friend and I found another Burl table at the local Salvation Army. This one is huge and covered in epoxy. We started with a chisel, quickly moved to a scroll saw, then a sawsall, then an electronic chainsaw... still haven't made much progress. Eventually I'm going to get a gas chainsaw and hopefully get this thing taken apart. It looks like there will be about 6-8 carve top sets in the table. If any of you builders out there want to pull a crazy burl top out of this table's yield just let me know.

I needed a new 25k audio pot this week and since no one in Auburn had one it gave me an excuse to visit Son Father Guitars in Rocklin for the first time. I talked to the owner Dave Cassotta for a while and he seems like a really nice guy with a great setup. He's got his grown kids working with him in the shop, how cool is that?!
