New Design PageI've finally reworked the Information section to include Design and Pricing pages. I don't have all
the current designs computerized yet but there is a lot there to see and read about for the
time being.
I spent the last two days driving around the Sacramento Valley and Sierra Foothills trying
to find a Roland synth unit to test Dave Kuzy's guitar. None of the local guitar stores had
anything so I finally had to post a topic on
Craigslist
trying to find someone local with a VG88 or GR33. Thanks to everyone who offered help, I ended
up taking
Robbi Spencer's advice and contacted
Ed TenEyck. Ed was nice enough to let me use his synth
unit for a few minutes and for that I am very grateful.
In other news my friend and I found another Burl table at the local Salvation Army. This
one is huge and covered in epoxy. We started with a chisel, quickly moved to a scroll saw, then
a sawsall, then an electronic chainsaw... still haven't made much progress. Eventually I'm going
to get a gas chainsaw and hopefully get this thing taken apart. It looks like there will be
about 6-8 carve top sets in the table. If any of you builders out there want to pull a crazy
burl top out of this table's yield just let me know.
I needed a new 25k audio pot this week and since no one in Auburn had one it gave me an
excuse to visit
Son Father Guitars in Rocklin
for the first time. I talked to the owner Dave Cassotta for a while and he seems like a really
nice guy with a great setup. He's got his grown kids working with him in the shop, how
cool is that?!
